$15,000 in prizes
The annual Sabine Showdown Fishing Tournament is coming up on September 7, 2024 with $15,000 in total prize money in three categories for anglers across Southeast Texas and Southwest Louisiana.
You fish where you are and return to the Carl Parker Multipurpose Center in Port Arthur, Texas for weigh-in.
There are plenty of side pots to make the day interesting as well as live music, great food, and plenty of faces you will recognize at the weigh-in event on the campus of Lamar State College Port Arthur.

All of the proceeds from the annual fishing and golf tournaments at Lamar State College Port Arthur directly support students through program and facility improvements as well as scholarships.
Fishing Tournament
The annual fishing tournament brings people together from across the entire Southeast Texas/Southwest Louisiana region.
Golf Tournament
The annual golf tournament impacts students directly through the SETX Educational Development Foundation.
Direct Contributions

With a brunch buffet ready and dozens of golf carts lined up for the 2024 edition of the Sabine Showdown Golf Tournament, teams from across Southeast Texas enjoyed a great day on the course.
